La banda alemana Tokio Hotel inició el 24 de noviembre, su gira por Latinoamérica, con un esperado concierto en Brasil. Pero también visitó Perú, Chile y México. ¡Sí! ¡Los tuvimos taaaaaaaan cerquita! En esta nota, te contamos pila de cosas que sucedieron con la banda que está ¡arrasando con todo!

El 2010, lleno de buenos conciertos

Un año más llega a su fin, sí, 365 días, donde la ciudad de México y algunos rincones del interior de la República, fueron seducidos por la presencia de bandas y solistas de reconocida talla internacional. Algunos presentaron discos nuevos, tocaron por el puro placer de consentir a sus fieles seguidores, mientras que otros no podían pasar desapercibidos y dejar la oportunidad de venir al país para ofrecer lo mejor de sus repertorios musicales. Doce meses, que estuvieron llenos de grandes momentos.

DICIEMBRE

El último mes del año no se quedó atrás en cuanto a grandes entradas. Todo comenzó con 17 mil asistentes a ver a Tokio Hotel, en el Palacio de los Deportes. Luego fue turno de Jeff Beck, quien el día 6 agotó las 3, 200 entradas disponibles en el Teatro Metropolitan, mientras que Rammstein arrasó dos noches (6 y 7) el Palacio de los Deportes con otro par de conciertos agotados, esta vez con suma total de 44 mil personas en dos noches. Ya para cerrar con broche de oro, Roger Waters llenó tres veces el Palacio (18, 19 y 21) con una suma total de 42 mil asistentes (14 mil por noche).

Tokio Hotel entrevista con Los 40 Principales Argentina

Welcome to Latin America! What can you tell us about this tour? Do you like Latin America?
Bill: We are totally looking forward to the tour because we wanted to come here for quite some time. And we're happy to do it finally. Everything went great, better than expected. The reactions of the fans were great, we had really great concerts and it was amazing how the fans were waiting for us at the airport.

Do you like the production of the shows? Are you really a part of it?
Bill: We don't like to let other people do the things. We're perfectionists. We like to control everything so that it is as perfect as we want it.

What are you doing five minutes before you go on stage? Is there a tradition?
Bill: We activate our "Power Rangers-Super Power". This is our secret power that we activate before each concert. And we are very nervous before each show.

What do you do when you're not on stage? Is your relation good?
Tom: We're more than friends, we have such a strong connection, we aren't only brothers, we're twins. We live together, we're 24 hours a day together, we do and share everything together. The longest time that we were separated, were 4-5 days. We are one person split into two bodies.
